Libertatems are one-ounce medallions minted by Freedom Force International. They are a storehouse of value, a hedge against inflation, a work of art, and a teaching aid to popularize the laws of liberty. The 2008 Libertatems have arrived just in time for Christmas, but the mint made an incredible error, which is in our favor, and we are passing the windfall on to you.

We ordered two versions. The standard issue is called Series B (for Bullion). It has a satin-like finish similar to coins produced by the U.S. Mint. It is used for barter and held as a storehouse of value that cannot be eroded by inflation. They make wonderful gifts.

The other version is called Series A (for Award). It is identical to series B except it has a mirror-like finish found on special-edition coins created as collector's pieces.

The Series B is competitively priced with similar bullion-type coins from national mints. The Series A is twice as expensive reflecting its extra manufacturing cost and limited production. Most customers choose the Series B because it is a better value in terms of silver content. However, there are times when Series A is the preferred choice for awards and gifts. It also has the greater potential for growth in collector's value.

The incredible error at the mint is that they made our entire order into Series A. That means we have an extra 1000 Series A that we did not order and we have no Series B at all.

The mint has agreed to pick up the cost of this error, so we have decided to pass along the savings to our customers. While the extra Series A Libertatems last, we will offer them at exactly the same price as the Series B. The limit is 20 per customer. We do not expect the supply to last more than about a week. In fact, as I write this, there are only 850 left; so, if you want to give these as Christmas gifts or just to put them away for a rainy day, it would be wise to take immediate action. (More)

CLASSIC VIDEO PROGRAM GIVEN NEW LIFE
One of our all-time most popular video programs was produced in 1985 under the title: Soviet Subversion of the Free-World Press. It was based upon an interview I did with Yuri Bezmenov, a defector from the KGB. Yuri worked for an elite propaganda service known as the Novasti Press Agency. One of his assignments was to accompany journalists visiting the Soviet Union to make sure they did not discover the truth about Soviet life. After becoming disillusioned with the oppressive system, he escaped to the West at great risk to his life.

In this interview, Bezmenov told how the Soviets used propaganda against their own citizens; how he hoodwinked American journalists into publishing Soviet propaganda, how slave laborers are concealed from foreign visitors, and how he escaped to the West posing as an American hippie. The program includes many photographs brought with him on microfilm at the time of his escape.

When the VHS tape format gave way to DVD recordings, I assumed that the demand for this program would be minimal due to the wide misconception that "Communism is dead," so it was dropped from our catalogue. Much to my delight, a video activist took it upon himself to post an edited version of this program on You Tube, and the response from viewers was very strong. People could see that similar techniques for manipulating public opinion are being used today, not only by Russians, but also by Americans. So, we decided to re-master the program, give it a new title, and release it on DVD. It can be ordered below.
